I feel like I must be missing something. The only tool they mention by name is Pocket (which isn't an "Accessibility tool" as much as it had a way to turn an article to audio). But I don't follow how new accessibility tools that utilized LLMs or some aspect of them mean your old tools stopped working? Everything mentioned seems like new things so how were your "precious" accessibility tools ruined? I'm not being glib, I really don't follow.
Additionally, I think that harping on how LLMs stole everything is a losing battle. I'm not saying you're wrong, they did, but nothing is going to change, the courts don't care, stock market go up. It sucks, it's not right, it's shitty we are rewarding bad behavior but we aren't going to put that genie back into the bottle. So at this point you can continue to disadvantage yourself and avoid LLMs or use them for things they are good for. Again, not trying to be harsh, just realistic.
